The magician displays nine cards, eight of which are identical, and
one different card, known as the "Wild Card". For example, let's say
that the spectators are shown eight Jokers and one Five of Hearts
(the Wild Card). The cards you receive may be different. Four of
the identical cards, the Jokers, are dealt face down, while the other
four matching Jokers are dealt face up, leaving the lone Wild Card,
the Five of Hearts, in the magician's hand. By merely touching the
Wild Card to each of the eight identical cards, all are transformed
into exact duplicates of the lone Wild Card. So at the end of the
effect, the audience will see nine Five of Hearts resting face up on
the table! No trace of the eight Jokers can be found!
