A deck of playing cards is borrowed and any four cards of the same
value are removed, lets say the four Kings. With the packet of four
Kings held face down, a spectator is asked to select one of the cards,
remember it, and then replace it back with the other Kings, which are
then mixed so the location of the selected King is no longer known.
Now the four Kings are placed onto the table in a face down row. The
performer introduces a whistle key chain and states that it has the
magical ability to reveal the spectator's chosen card. The performer
holds the whistle key chain over each of the four cards and each time it
is over one of the cards the spectator is to whistle. When held over
three of the cards nothing happens, but over one card, the whistle key
chain makes beeping sounds whenever the spectator whistles. To
make sure everything is working okay the performer has the spectator
repeat the process of whistling as the whistle key chain is held over
each card. The same results happen over the exact same card as
before.
The card that caused the whistle key chain to make a series of beeps
is turned over and it proves to be the King selected by the spectator!
This is a nice easy-to-do little miracle that you'll carry with you all the
time. Please note that there are no magnets used! Nothing is hidden
in your hands! The beeping is under the magician's control at all times!
