Wand-ER-FUL Card Trick (David Winkler)......$10.00
The magician talks about how every profession and trade has its
tools and magic is no different. "One of the magician's most
important tools is the wand", says the performer. "And like other
trades one type of tool can have different uses. Take the
carpenter's hammer for example. There is one for finish work and
another designed for rough frame work like the Ball Peen and
Claw Hammer to name a few", says the magician.
"I have with me six different wands that outwardly may appear all
the same, but are actually all different. I'm a little undecided as to
which wand I'd like to use today so perhaps you can choose one
for me." A wand is selected by the spectator. "Good choice",
says the magician. "That's the wand for doing card tricks."
The magician now brings forth a pack of playing cards and has
one selected. The card is remembered and lost back into the
deck as the cards are shuffled. The magician takes the selected
wand and taps the deck and claims the wand has caused the
spectator's chosen card to reverse itself in the deck. But when
the cards are spread out face down no reversed face up card is
seen. The magician appears puzzled and asks the spectator to
remove their card as he spreads the deck between his hands so
the spectator can pick out their card. But to the spectator's
surprise, their card can't be found anywhere! The deck can even
be handed over to the spectator who runs through the cards
themselves only to find their selected card missing. It appears to
have totally vanished!
Now when the tip of the selected card wand, which has been used
throughout the routine, is removed, the spectator's chosen card is
found rolled up inside! None of the other five wands have any
cards inside them and they can all be totally examined.
