"Top of the Heap" is the easiest, cleanest, and most staggering
ambitious card effect you are likely to witness! The magician
displays a deck of playing cards, legitimately shuffles and cuts them,
and deals cards face up until a spectator stops him at a selection.
The selection is buried in the deck and without any false moves
whatsoever, the card magically rises to the top of the deck three
different times in a row!
The handling is incredibly clean - without double lifts or other sleight
of hand. The deck is cut in half, and the selection is placed on top of
one pile, and without any suspicious moves, instantly jumps to the
top of the other pile! The deck is shuffled and the spectator cuts the
deck into four piles. The spectator then selects any pile (no force)
and the top card of that pile is the selection - the other piles have
indifferent cards on top!
