Sunny-Side Up (Meir Yedid)…..$6.00

If you're into off-beat, clever, and entertaining card magic, with an
unexpected surprise ending, you're going to love Meir Yedid's
Sunny-Side Up!  In this little play a deck of cards becomes a
toaster and the Kings are slices of bread.  At the end an amazingly
authentic-looking fried egg makes its surprise appearance!

What your spectators see:  The magician, standing at a table in
front of his audience, introduces a deck of playing cards, and says,
"I'd like to borrow your imagination for a moment.  Pretend these
two red Kings are slices of bread and the deck of cards is a
toaster.  I'm going to take these slices of bread and stick them into
the toaster."  So saying, the magician shows the two red Kings and
places them into the center of the deck.  "If we wait a few seconds
the bread will pop out - toasted!" says the performer.  After a few
seconds have passed, one of the black Kings pops out of the
deck!  One slice has toasted!  After a few more seconds instead of
the second black King popping out a red King makes its
appearance, as the performer says, "Oops, this one isn't done
yet."  So saying, the magician pushes the red King back into the
deck (toaster) and after a few seconds it pops out of the deck a
black King!

Apparently the effect is over, as the deck with the two protruding
(popped up) black Kings is placed face down onto the table.  The
two black Kings are removed from the deck and placed face up on
the table and as this happens the fried egg appears from nowhere
and ends up sitting on top of the two black Kings, Sunny Side Up
on Toast!  The performer says, "And what would toast be in the
morning without an egg!"

You receive the sixteen page instructional booklet and realistic-
looking fried egg.  This routine can be performed with any deck of
playing cards.  No gimmicked cards are used.  There is some
relatively simple sleight of hand involved, but a bit of handling
finesse is really all that is called for.
