mathematical impossibility for ages, but for a magician nothing is
impossible. He displays a square made of metal strips. Holding the
square in front of himself the magician instantly transforms it into a
circle, then back into a square, and so on as often as he wishes.
For an added effect try knotting a silk handkerchief around the circle
before the change and see how the effect is heightened. If you work
with doves just perch your dove on the top of the circle and turn it
slowly so the dove ends up inside the circle at the bottom just before
the change.
