A fan of three playing cards is shown to contain the Ace of
Diamonds, Four of Diamonds, and the Five of Diamonds. These
cards are turned face down and mixed up so their order is no
longer known. A see-through wallet is introduced consisting of two
plastic windows that are banded together. One side of the wallet
has the Ace of Diamonds printed on it and the other side has the
Four of Diamonds. A completely clear sheet of plastic is also
shown which is placed into the see-through wallet.
Now one of the three cards previously shown is selected from the
fan while the cards are still face down. The spectator has a
perfectly free choice of the card selected with absolutely no forces
involved. When the card is shown it is the Five of Diamonds.
Now attention is directed back to the see-through wallet and the
clear piece of plastic that was placed into it. When the clear
plastic is removed from the wallet it now has the Five of Diamonds
printed on it and the wallet sections are completely blank! It's as
though the Ace of Diamonds and the Four of Diamonds have
magically jumped off the wallet and onto the piece of plastic to
reveal the name of the card freely selected by the spectator!
This is a really great trick and will get quite a reaction from your
spectators. Very easy to do! Easy to carry in your jacket pocket.
