This pre-owned effect is not complete but is supplied with the most
important piece you will need, the special brass tray. There are no
instructions, or the cloth bag and playing cards.
Here is the effect of this most beautiful card mystery.
A beautiful brass tray is displayed. The magician takes a deck of
playing cards and asks a spectator (spectator number one) to count
ten cards onto the tray. The cards are then poured from the tray into a
cloth carrying bag and the bag is given to spectator number one to
hold.
Another spectator (spectator number two) counts ten cards onto the
tray and when this has been done three of those cards are displayed
to the audience and written down or simply remembered by
members of the audience. These ten cards are given to spectator
number two to hold securely between their hands.
The two spectators are positioned on stage so as to be a distance
apart from one another. The magician commands three cards to
travel invisibly from the hands of spectator number two and to travel
invisibly across the stage and into the cloth carrying bag being held
by spectator number one.
The cards are now counted by spectator number two and it is found
that they only have seven cards! The cards are removed from the
carrying bag, being held by spectator number one, and counted.
They have thirteen cards, and the additional three cards turn out to be
the ones being remembered by the audience members! Believe us,
this is a reputation-making routine!
