Releaso - Vintage Close-Up Magic Penetration!
Copyright 1977 by D. Robbins & Company and in 1981 by Sam Dalal
Effect: A solid wooden block penetrates a ribbon. This is a really nice
little piece of close-up magic that is very well made. A painted wooden
block and cylinder are shown. Both have a hole drilled through their
centers. So when the block is nested inside the cylinder the holes are
lined up and a piece of ribbon can be threaded through (with the help
from a miniature wand, which is included) thus securing the block inside
the cylinder.
As long as both ends of the ribbon are held by a spectator it is impossible
to remove the block without cutting the ribbon. But the magician performs
a miracle by removing the block from the cylinder and right through the
ribbon in a direct and rapid manner. The spectators will be left totally
amazed at this unbelievable solid through solid mystery!
The ribbon, block, cylinder and wand can all be totally examined both
before and after the effect is performed. You'll be surprised by the
method used. No set-ups beforehand, no threads used, no magnets, no
wax, no sleights, nothing added or taken away.
New old stock condition with some minor paint faults (from handling over
the years) but nothing too serious. It still makes for a very nice attractive
outfit. The paint is quite glossy and looks great. Comes with two sets of
instructions, one from D. Robbins & Company 1977 and one from Sam
Dalal 1981.
