Any deck of cards is thoroughly shuffled by the performer and five
cards are dealt at random off the top of the deck. They are turned
face up on the table and spectator is asked to select any card.....a
perfectly free choice! Magician removes an envelope from his
pocket and places it in full view on the table, never going near it.
The five cards are picked up, shuffled and placed into the
envelope. After squeezing the outside of the envelope (spectator
may do this) it is opened and the cards removed.....but there are
only four cards! Upon shaking the envelope a tiny card drops out
which is the selected card! Magician remarks that he (or
spectator) must have squeezed too hard!
