A borrowed penny is secured to a handsome wooden paddle by
sliding it under an attached rubber band. With a wave of the
magician's hand the single penny becomes two! The effect is
repeated by adding a dime and then a quarter. Each time one coin
is added to the paddle it is caused to magically multiply so that at
the finish the original thirty-six cents doubles to seventy-two cents!
Now all six coins are removed from the paddle as it is shown to be
empty on both sides. Suddenly a real dollar bill appears attached to
the bands around the wooden paddle! They ask, "How is it done?"
The magician replies "With mirrors!" As this is said two long
mirrors appear on the paddle, one on each side, for a startling
finish to a wonderful money mystery!
