This is one of the prettiest close-up effects ever created. A penny is
placed in the center of a borrowed handkerchief. The handkerchief
is placed over the mouth of a glass. A tap of the hand and the coin
penetrates the handkerchief and falls into the glass. The effect is
repeated but this time the coin is covered with a packet of matches
and any spectator taps the top of the match pack. Again the coin
penetrates the hanky and falls into the glass.
