Mamma Mia Cups And Balls Routine (Aldo Colombini)......$10.00
Three colored pom-poms penetrate through the cups during the
routine. At the finish, the three pom-poms are vanished and three
large balls are revealed.
Here's what Aldo Colombini has to say about this routine:
The following Cups and Balls routine has been very well received
during almost five years of lectures around the world. It was
conceived for the 1988 FISM convention in Holland, where I was
asked to lecture just on cups and balls. At that time I had only one
routine so I was forced to create more. This is one of the results.
It is based on the LEO LESLIE TECHNICOLOR CUPS AND
BALLS ROUTINE (written by Ken De Courey and published by
Supreme Magic Co.) using tissue paper. In fact, the first part Is
quite similar to the original and then I went further using personal
moves and different approaches.
Also, my friend JOHN FEDKO does something quite similar to the
LEO LESLIE routine and it is quite funny that I created my routine
being unaware of John Fedko's and John was unaware of Leo
Leslie's! Anyway, although having some similarities at the
beginning, the use of original moves and the added effects
make my routine totally different in its handling.
So many magicians raved about the differences when comparing
other routines and the simplicity on following each effect. Many
cups and balls routines are confusing to the spectators, but the
following is quite easy to follow, mainly because of the colors and
the economy of moves and, why not, because of the handling.
The comedy patter plays a great part in the routine. As you know, I
like to use comedy with my routines. Try it as it is written and as
necessary, change either the patter or the moves.
This routine has appeared in GENII and in my book IMPACT
(published by HADES PUBLICATIONS) but is reprinted here as a
separate item with all the patter and the refinements I usually use
in my presentation in both lectures and lay performances.
You know I like classic magic and I think nothing in magic is more
classic than the Cups and Balls. It must be in my repertoire ... and
maybe in yours!
Hope you have fun!
