The magician begins by predicting the denomination and date of a coin,
and sealing his prediction in an envelope which is handed to someone
in the audience to hold. Next, the performer borrows a handful of change
from another spectator. The performer or anyone from the audience
drops these coins on the table and removes all except the ones which
fall head-side up. This dropping of the coins is continued until there is
only one coin remaining that is heads-up. The spectator who's been
holding onto the prediction is asked to open it up and read aloud the
performer's prediction. To the amazement of all, the performer's
prediction matches the value and date of the remaining coin!
