Have A Heart aka Card In Heart (Supreme Magic)......$20.00
Supreme's "Have A Heart" is an entertaining effect, with a little
bit of magic, with a gag, and then an offbeat ending.
The magician shows a pack of playing cards and has one card
chosen; the card is the Five of Hearts. Spectator is now handed
the pack and asked to shuffle his card back into the pack. The
magician takes the pack and places this into his right hand
jacket pocket. "By sense of touch", he explains, "I will locate the
selected card." Reaching into his pocket the magician
produces one card which he holds back-out to the audience.
The spectator is asked to name the card they selected and says
it's the Five of Hearts. When the magician turns the card around
it is the Four of Hearts.
"Well, would you accept this card?" asks the magician, "It's a
heart short, but what's a heart between friends! Look, I'll tell you
what, if you are so insistent on the extra heart, why not have
mine."
The performer reaches into his inside pocket, obviously near his
heart, and produces a plastic one. "Well, maybe", says the
performer, "you didn't really think that I knew the card you would
take, but I can assure you I did know all the time." Suddenly, the
plastic heart is opened up and a silk handkerchief drops down
from inside it, on which is imprinted a giant size Five of Hearts!
This trick is easy to do, always ready, and can be worked under
any conditions and gives plenty of scope for comedy and byplay.
You receive the special plastic heart, the card silk and full
routine. The card silk supplied is not the original one that came
with the effect but a used P&A card silk has been substituted.
You can use any deck of cards.
