Ghost Card Glass
Effect : A playing card is selected and lost in the deck. The magician
removes a rectangular piece of clear glass from a pouch, cleans it
with a soft cloth and places the same on top of the deck for a
moment.
Then the performer places the glass in front of his mouth and
exhales a long breath on it. Oh! Presto! A miniature image of the
selected card mysteriously appears on the glass for a moment and
then disappears!
If desired the effect can be repeated once again with a different card
appearing on the glass! A knockout effect and one you'll do often!
The glass has been set to reveal the Three of Diamonds and the
Two of Hearts and not the Five of Hearts as pictured on the
packaging box that is supplied with the trick. The images of the two
cards on the glass are starting to fade away after having been
activated so it may seem that the image is not uniform in
appearance. Rest assured that when first revealed they are quite
prominent but will start to fade away after a few seconds. It was
nearly impossible to reveal the image and set it in place for a picture
without some of the image starting to fade away.
