The magician passes two glass tumblers for examination. After
they have been examined the magician places a silk in each glass
and lays a folded newspaper or magazine over the top of the
glasses. Next the magician inserts a wand under the paper and
in between the glasses. Wonder of wonders! When the performer
lifts the wand, the glasses and silks come too. There suspended in
mid-air are the two glasses, defying gravity!
The magician now goes one step further and reaching under the
paper into the glasses he removes the silks, yet the glasses remain
suspended! Finally he brings the glasses down on the table and
removes the wand and paper and passes everything out for
examination once more!
