A tall clear plastic cylinder, which is attached to a wooden base, is
freely shown and three eighteen inch silk handkerchiefs are placed
inside the cylinder as shown in the picture. A metal cover, open at
both ends, is then slid down over the cylinder. When the cover is
removed, the silks have changed into three REAL ORANGES which
can be tossed to the audience! The cylinder can be shown empty at
both ends, the silks having completely vanished. Please note that no
mirrors are used to accomplish this awesome effect.
The Silk Cylinder is a very versatile prop as it can be used for many
other types of effects. Vanish silks, transform them into solid objects,
switch them for effects like 20th Century Silks, Blendo, Mutilated
Parasol, and more! Change them to Flags, Ribbons, etc.
