This is a tube that fits inside the metal cover of the Crystal Silk
Cylinder and outside the clear plastic tube of the trick. If you own the
Silk Cylinder outfit you'll know what we are talking about. Through
the use of this tube you are allowed to show the outer tube to be
empty at the beginning of the effect. The other advantage of using
this additional tube is that the audience is not allowed to glimpse the
silks being pushed into the base as the outer cover is placed over
the outfit.
