The magician shows four coins in his right hand and slaps them down
on a book lying on the left hand. The right hand is lifted and only three
coins are seen on the book. One coin has apparently penetrated the
book because it is found lying on the left palm underneath the book!
The above actions are repeated three more times and all four coins
end up on the left hand. The author also shows how to perform the
same effect using a table top and then another version where the
coins travel invisibly from one hand to the other.
The routines are very clean and baffling to the extreme and the
spectators are ready to call you an outstanding coin manipulator while
in fact you don't need to practice more than a few minutes to master
these routines.
