over the top edge of the door and it closed shut. Now for the miracle! The
ribbon is pulled downwards and it is seen to visibly penetrate the entire length of

Mystery Door Penetration (Japan - Original Magic Series #13) - From Tricks
Company LTD (1977) comes this really different penetration mystery utilizing a
small plastic hinged door affair and a length of ribbon. The door is shown to
hinge freely back and forth within its framework. A piece of ribbon is draped
over the top edge of the door and it closed shut. Now for the miracle! The
ribbon is pulled downwards and it is seen to visibly penetrate the entire length of
the door and ends up at the underside and completely free of the door. The
door is swung open and the ribbon is removed from the framework and then

red plastic bobin (called a Yo Yo) and a shoestring. You show the Yo Yo with the
shoelace all around it and then ask a spectator to insert a pencil through the
center hole. Both ends of the pencil are held tightly by the spectator. The
magician pulls down on the shoelace and it is seen to visibly penetrate both the
Yo Yo and the pencil in an amazing manner! At the end of the effect all can be
