A spectator shuffles their own deck of playing cards and then cuts
the pack into three piles on the table. The spectator selects one of
the piles and the performer picks up the remaining two and places
them together. The spectator is asked to shuffle their packet and
then to remove one of the cards and to look at and remember it.
The spectator's card is placed into the center of the performer's
packet and the cards are squared. Now all the cards are placed
into the empty card box and at the magician's command, the
selected card is seen to slowly and mysteriously rise from the center
of the pack! At the finish all the cards can be thoroughly examined
for anything suspicious but nothing will be found to explain this
excellent close-up mystery!
